Evelyn Herrera is the founder and CEO of Success-ID, LLC, an MWBE-certified organization based in New York City that transforms lives through education, workforce development, and financial empowerment.

Born in Peru and immigrating to the U.S. at 14, Evelyn embodies resilience and the drive to turn challenges into opportunities. Her own journey — balancing immigrant roots, higher education, and family responsibilities — fuels her passion to ensure that families and communities are equipped with the tools to succeed.

Evelyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, a Master’s in Business Management and Leadership, and is pursuing a second Master’s in Education Technology and Instructional Design. She is also a certified paralegal, with formative experience in the Broward County Juvenile Court system in Florida.

Her career spans financial services, telecommunications, and nonprofit leadership, earning awards such as the First Data Spotlight Award for Innovation, T-Mobile Do More Get More Award, and national sales competition wins with Nokia and Samsung. In the nonprofit sector, Evelyn has directed education and workforce development programs, managing contracts that served youth, adults, and at-risk populations.

In 2019, she launched Success-ID to bridge financial literacy, workforce readiness, and community empowerment. Under her leadership, Success-ID has delivered hundreds of sessions across NYC schools, engaged thousands of parents and students, and supported nearly 1,000 youth with successful SYEP enrollment through financial coaching and guidance. Evelyn also pioneered Success-ID’s microloan program and developed innovative curricula aligned with national and state workforce priorities.

Her vision is clear: to empower individuals to achieve success while strengthening the communities they belong to. Whether collaborating with youth and families, building partnerships, or creating new solutions, Evelyn leads with humility, integrity, and conviction. She often reminds those she serves, “We are the architects of our own destiny” — a belief reflected in her work and her journey.
